The quality of the TV is great and I expect to have it for many years to come. I think this particular size is perfect because its not too large or too small. I have it my living area which opens up to my kitchen, dining and breakfast areas.

This HDTV is still the best HDTV, PC Monitor, you can buy, in 2013. Best built in tuner, capable of receiving all unscrambled cable TV HDTV channels. No color/picture adjustments,because it automatically adjusts to perfection. Well worth the price. Use it for your PC monitor and you will be the envy of everyone who sees it.

I, of course, bought this lcd tv because of the excellent price and the above average reviews. After receiving it and enjoying it, I wouldn't switch to a new tv for more money because I really wouldn't need to. The picture is great and it would seem pointless to sink more money into something else. Sure, maybe I could get something "better", but I would probably have to spend twice as much for tiny little improvements.

On a side note: You will need to mess with the sound and picture settings to get the best experience, but in my opinion, that should be expected. After all, what other electronic device agrees with everyone's expectations before a little "tweaking".

Really though, this tv is great. I can understand the gripes from some people receiving a television that doesn't work, but rejects happen everywhere, and you just have to hope yours isn't one of them. Thankfully, as far as my experience goes, I honestly couldn't ask more from a tv. I didn't care about getting one with internet capability, so if that is what you want, go with something else. However, if you want a television with great picture and above average sound, go with this. The price seems to be the best out of all the rest, and I can't see how most could ask for more. I would recommend a sound system to get the most out of it, but it's not as if the sound is horrid. I'm simply saying that if you care alot about sound, I don't think this will meet your needs completely.

Here's my two cents: After reading all about this television on amazon, realizing what features came with this tv and what didn't, my only concern was whether or not the picture would meet my entertainment desires. Rest assured that along with the several other happy customers, it did indeed meet them. So, do yourself a favor and buy it!
